Restaurant Klinker in Hamburg

Finally a restaurant with real character and a great concept. Regional, high-quality dishes (also to fill you up) and on top there is a great wine list with wines that also have a story to tell and are served by staff that oozes charm. In short: off there.

The service was good, the food was unfortunately not. The lamb dish consisted of 90 percent fat. There were 5 of us and 4 people it was too greasy. We spoke directly, but it was not discussed further. Not okay for the price. The ambience of the restaurant is ok. Maybe next time it will be better.

Thank you, we ate meat through the menu, mega !!! The beetroot and grilled cheese sandwich, in between tomato / burrata then the sea trout and finally cheese (the cheese served was so delicious 💥) and the nectarine / vanilla / raspberry.

New restaurant and place to be in Eimsbüttel. Incredibly well coordinated food and super good service! Definitely eat here.

A culinary delight in a class of its own! Will definitely not be left out on our next Hamburg trip. Highly recommended.

Right at the beginning - I've been doing a little business with the Klinker restaurant for three weeks. STILL, I will not miss the opportunity to evaluate objectively! Yesterday evening my wife and I went to eat at the clinker. What can I say?! The reception was extremely friendly and lovable, the latter running like a red thread through the entire length of stay. Although our charming waitress did not immediately know that, as mentioned at the beginning, I had something else to do with the brick. The ambience on the terrace - super pleasant. Didn't go to the restaurant because I was too lazy to put on the mask, but from the outside I also looked great. Whatever we ordered, it was huge! We were surprised by a mixture of nouvelle cuisine in combination with “I know that from home with regional products”. The portions range between tapas and "normal size". The wine recommendation - fist on the eye. Price-performance ratio - fits, but would be negligible in any case. Well-intentioned tip from me - run in there and indulge your senses.

Four of us ate here, 3 starters, 4 main courses. All dishes were exceptionally prepared and very tasty. The service was friendly and competent.

Highest goodness of all! When a restaurant buys most of the ingredients in Demeter quality no wishes remain unfulfilled - personally I cannot understand why anyone writes "Too expensive" here. Eat good! Winery ! Service good! Ends Well ! Thanks and gladly again!

The restaurant Klinker has a very nice ambience with a bar and an open kitchen above. The food 🥘 was very good, ravioli filled with mushrooms and the cheese sandwich was also very tasty 😋 and well prepared. The service was very friendly. Didn't open at the weekend and therefore it was well attended. You should come on time to get a nice seat 👍

Food was extremely delicious and imaginative, only there was nowhere that you should order 3 to 4 dishes for 2 people, as I later saw in reviews. According to the prices, I would have expected salad, bread, or a side dish. We then made dessert and coffee at home as a supplement.

You should just know beforehand that if you are hungry, you have to calculate around € 50 without drinks. Food very good quality. Heavy for my taste with milk / cheese.

Loved the food, atmosphere and wines!

Really great concept, with very selected ingredients, seasonally coordinated dishes and prepared with great attention to detail (just the butter with changing preparation options is always a small highlight). A wide variety of guests can enjoy special taste experiences and qualities. Therefore, the prices are still ok, although you have to be aware that the portions are usually an "intermediate size". I personally think this concept is terrific because it gives you the opportunity to try many dishes and share everything super. We have always had great evenings there!

Very, very delicious food. Unusual, very successful combinations. Portions are over the size of tapas and well under the size of a main course. Therefore .... Please plan a little more money if you want to get full. The visit is always worthwhile.

Great food with very good wines and a very, very nice service. It is best to order 2-3 dishes per person. Prices are perfectly fine for the quality offered.

We had super delicious food and a very good Pinot Gris. You order three to four dishes that can be shared well by two. The restaurant is well attended, so you should reserve well in advance, but you also have the chance to get a free seat spontaneously. The restaurant was quite noisy, which could be the only small "annoyance"!

Hip restaurant, well attended to the last seat, reservation required! Great concept: all dishes are meant to be shared, so they are appetizer-sized. Each plate was awesome in terms of taste and appearance. The service absolutely friendly and brisk. Consideration was given to the request for a rather quiet table when making the reservation. We spontaneously decided to go to the locality today. From starters to desserts, everything tasted very good! A great shop with a great team. I can only recommend it to everyone! 😊 We were won over by the restaurant as a customer! 💪🏼

If you love food, come here and be surprised. The dishes appear simple, but ingredients are treated carefully and the results are equal to the best meals I’ve had in Europe or North America, at an absolutely fair price. Don’t pay much attention to the negative reviews complaining about small portions. A good meal should leave you wanting to taste it again, not tired from the amount of food. Service is warm and friendly (and fast!), the atmosphere is comfortable without being too casual, and the staff know the menu well. Claudia is a wonderful hostess. I’ll be back next time I visit Hamburg!

Excellent high quality food. All ingredients are organic. Very good wine selection and friendly service. This place really fills a gap in Hoheluft. Only suggestion for improvement is that the main course was served very quickly after the starter with only little time to finish the sparkling wine. See you soon. PS: I really don't understand the people complaining about the size of the plates. The prize quality ratio is very good and the amount of food is plenty. If you're really hungry, just get two mains or go to Erika's Eck.
